HuntGrade ("we," "us") publishes independent ratings for hunting optics at huntgrade.com. This policy explains what we collect when you use the site, why, and what you can do about it.

• Usage data. Pages viewed, referring site, approximate region, browser and device type, and timestamps — collected in aggregate to understand what people use and what's broken.
• Things you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, and message. If you give us an email address for a data export or update, we receive that.
• Affiliate click data. When you click through to a retailer, the affiliate network records the click so a purchase can be attributed back to us. See below.

We do not ask for or store payment information. No purchase is ever completed on HuntGrade — buying happens on the retailer's own site, under their policies.

Retailer links on this site are, in some cases, affiliate links. Clicking one passes you through a redirect and allows the retailer's affiliate network to set a cookie in your browser. That cookie tells the retailer we referred you, so they can pay us a commission if you buy. It typically expires after a set window — commonly one to thirty days depending on the retailer.

These cookies are set by the affiliate network and the retailer, not by us, and are governed by their privacy policies. You can block or clear them in your browser at any time; doing so does not change anything you see on HuntGrade or the price you pay. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share data only with the service providers that make the site run — our host and content network, our analytics provider, our form-handling provider, and the affiliate networks described above — and only as needed for them to do that work.

We may disclose information where required by law, or to protect the site's or others' rights and safety.

Contact-form messages are retained while a conversation is open and for a reasonable period afterward. Aggregate usage data is retained on a rolling basis. We do not keep personal information longer than we need it for the purpose it was collected.

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us or use the contact form and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Depending on where you live — California, Colorado, and a growing list of other states — you may have specific rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out. We honor those requests regardless of where you live, so you do not have to prove residency to exercise them.

Most browsers let you refuse cookies or alert you when one is set. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals are honored where your browser sends them.

This site is meant for adults shopping for hunting optics. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
