HuntGrade publishes computed ratings for hunting optics. Every score is the output of a published formula run over a database of manufacturer and retailer specifications, and the method is documented on the methodology page.

The scores are information to help you compare hardware. They are not a warranty, a guarantee of performance, a safety certification, or advice about what you should buy. Field performance depends on conditions, mounting, zeroing, and the shooter. We name the gaps in our own data where they exist, and reliability is deliberately not a published score while the failure database is being built.

Specifications come from manufacturers, retailers, and independent sources, and they change without notice. We work to catch conflicts between sources and mark which figure is marketed and which is measured, but we cannot guarantee that every figure on this site is current or correct. Verify anything that decides a purchase with the manufacturer before you buy.

Prices and availability shown on this site are captured at a point in time and are not offers. The retailer's own page governs what you actually pay.

Some retailer links are affiliate links, described in full in our affiliate disclosure. Any purchase you make is a transaction between you and that retailer. We are not a party to it and are not responsible for their pricing, stock, shipping, returns, warranty handling, or service.

Thermal and night-vision optics are regulated differently across states, countries, and species, and export of some devices is restricted under US law. Nothing on this site is a statement that a product is legal for you to buy, own, export, or hunt with. Check your own state and local regulations.

The scoring methodology, computed scores, written content, charts, and design on this site belong to HuntGrade. You're welcome to reference or quote our findings with clear attribution and a link. You may not scrape, bulk-copy, resell, or republish the database or the scores as your own, or use them to train a competing model or product, without written permission.

Product names, brands, and trademarks belong to their owners. HuntGrade is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any manufacturer.

The site is provided as-is. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, move, or remove any part of it.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HuntGrade is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content, including any purchase decision you make. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply only as far as the law allows.
