Every RIX is a picture wearing a package. The picture comes from the sensor and the lens. The package is the line — the screen, the body, the rangefinder — and the price. The model name tells you the package, not the picture.
Distance comes from the lens. Within a sensor, the base magnification tracks the lens: 75 mm reads 3×, 60 mm reads 2× on the same 1280×1024 sensor. The lines set the screen, the body and the price — the picture is the sensor and the glass.
